The Bhutan Tour 3 Days is a short yet immersive package designed for visitors to explore the highlights of Paro and Thimphu. Starting with a flight from Nepal to Bhutan, you’ll enjoy scenic views of endless mountain ranges and lush forests.

Upon landing in Bhutan, you’ll head to Thimphu, the capital city, to visit various landmarks. The following day includes a guided tour to Satsam Chorten and a hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a sheer cliff. You’ll also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.

This tour offers a glimpse into Bhutan’s unique Buddhist culture, ancient monasteries, and stunning landscapes, providing a rich cultural experience in a short time.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Fly to Paro explore Thimphu

Catch a flight from Kathmandu to Bhutan, which usually takes around an hour, offering spectacular views of mountains and valleys. Upon arrival in Paro, complete your immigration formalities and meet your Bhutanese guide who will accompany you throughout the journey.

From Paro, embark on a short, picturesque drive of about 2 hours along the valley to reach Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. After lunch at a local restaurant, begin your sightseeing tour with visits to the Textile Museum, a traditional paper-making factory, and the post office to see Bhutan’s beautiful stamps, which depict the country’s myths, traditions, and culture. Alternatively, you can choose other sightseeing locations and attractions or take a stroll with your guide to explore the area.

Day 2: Explore Thimphu

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of theAfter breakfast, head towards Satsam Chorten and then a hike to the famous Takstang also known as The Tiger’s Nest Monastery, which is built on a sheer cliff around a cave where Guru Rimpoche meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days, and three hours in the 8th century. Hike up on the hillside for around a couple of hours to witness breathtaking views of the valley. After lunch, visit Kyichu Lhakhang one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Kathmandu Valley. Begin at Durbar (Palace) Square, the heart of religious and cultural life, featuring old temples and historical landmarks with magnificent Newari architecture. Highlights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess.

Next, visit Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the world’s oldest Buddhist stupas, perched high on a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. Proceed to Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located alongside the holy Bagmati River. While only Hindus can enter the temple’s courtyard, tourists can view it from the eastern bank of the river.

Later, visit Boudhanath, one of the world’s largest Buddhist stupas. This massive structure features four pairs of eyes, each facing a cardinal direction, symbolizing vigilance and human prosperity. After exploring the valley, return to your accommodation. In the evening, attend a brief orientation regarding the trek.

Day 3: Departure Day

After breakfast, your Bhutanese guide will escort you to the airport, ensuring you arrive at least one hour before your flight. Bid farewell to Bhutan and the friends you made along this journey, cherishing the memories of your visit to this beautiful country.
