Day 1: Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu

Take delight in the mesmerizing Himalayan scenery as you journey towards Bhutan. Upon your arrival, our Alpine Club of Himalaya representative will warmly greet you at the airport and escort you to your accommodation. After settling in, embark on a guided exploration of Paro.

Discover the city’s treasures as you visit renowned landmarks such as Dungste Lhakang, a venerable 15th-century temple steeped in history. Marvel at the majestic Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery exuding grandeur and serenity.

Immerse yourself in Bhutanese culture and heritage with a visit to the National Museum, where a captivating collection of artifacts awaits, offering insights into the kingdom’s rich past. Conclude your tour with a visit to Kichu Lhakhang, Bhutan’s oldest temple, resonating with centuries of spiritual significance.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing.

Today, delve into the hidden gems of Thimphu, beginning with a visit to the Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, and the serene Takin Sanctuary. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of these sacred sites before continuing your exploration.

Next, journey to the Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, Heritage Museum, and the Traditional School of Arts & Crafts, where you’ll gain insight into Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage and traditional practices. Marvel at the intricate craftsmanship and learn about the kingdom’s fascinating history.

Day 3: Thimphu to Paro
